Email Marketing Ideas

Email Marketing Ideas
Email Marketing Ideas

I need to examine email marketing ideas. But how do I examine an idea? I do not think others can help me at this point, because their viewpoints could be just as fallible as mine. We would simply use different topics email marketing and the result would be the same – the difficulty of evaluation. Thinking about internet marketing ideas makes you feel small, as the internet is big, but then again, not as big as the real world. You need to structure it, make your own maps: examine your email (maybe it would give me new email newsletter ideas), define ideas – their boundaries, their ability of being evaluated as email marketing ideas. But where do I start?

Should I start by defining boundaries. There are always some boundaries which shold be made or minded. So: boundaries. Firstly, I am of course confined to email. I can use words and images. I could probably use sound too – technically – but noone likes sound they did not choose. Especially on the internet. Or maybe they do? Let‘s say they don‘t, since I can‘t think of many good ideas in an empty space.

I should probably use some empty space in the newsletters. People like mystery – not too much of it, though. Or maybe I sould make the words clear, but the images woul be disperse. If one appreciates design, one should like empty space.

And what‘s about the time? I should think about being up to date, making email marketing ideas 2012. Actually, it‘s 2013 already. Are people fully aware of that? Should I pretend that the thing I am doing is completely new and progressive? Or should I think about marketing myself as a trusty old man who has known how to do things since the beginning of time? Probably not, internet is not the right place for trusty old men.

I should try sounding progressive and my ideas should be progressive as well. For example, what about email marketing ideas events? Something like gatherings on the internet or in real life, people laughing and sipping beer, singing jolly good songs. No, that is not progressive at all.

What do people in email marketing ideas real estate do? They make customers think they are getting a good deal. Although customers know they aren‘t. If they were getting a good deal, there would be no marketing involved, there would be a haunted house with a missing owner, sold for a really good price. But enough about that!

It‘s so hard to think of anything good, anything worthy calling the best email marketing ideas. How do people with creative jobs start their day (maybe I‘m doing something wrong)? Do they eat pizza for breakfast? Do they think about email marketing campaign ideas while riding a bike or jogging? Or maybe they are not moving at all, just sitting by a computer and thinking about email marketing ideas? So many questions for someone whi wants to enter the world of marketing, so many questions and so little answers so far!

Restaurant email marketing

Restaurant email marketing
Restaurant email marketing

Restaurant email marketing seems to be getting out of focus these days. If you own a restaurant, it is more likely that you are goint to trust social media, than take up email marketing. There might be variuos reasons for this: it is relatively easier to get in touch with clients using social media profiles. It seems that uploading funny pictures and regularly writting facebook statuses about news on the menu is easier that hiring (and paying for) restaurant email marketing services. There is some truth to this claim – if you really know how internet works and how to keep the attention of an internet user. On the other hand, restaurant email marketing creates a private space that only you and people from restaurant email list share. But how should you know which approach to choose?

The first and obviuos reason why restaurant email marketing might be useful to you is that by using this type of marketing you enter the private space of the people who eat (or might eat) at your restaurant. Not a social gathering, where the one who shouts the loudest gets the attention – a private, door to door communication. Now, as I have mentioned „door to door“, it is important to note that your approach shouldn‘t be like that of the religiuos groups that come knocking at your door. You should be polite – because annoyed customer is worse that no customer. But this resembling a salon email marketing is not only good for the private approach. By getting into your customers‘ emails, you can find out more about them.

Hold the thought – I am not talking about identity thefts or any spying on the internet. The honest way of knowing what your customers like is to observe which parts of your newsletters they enjoy the most. If you take a moment to look at restaurant email marketing templates you will see that there are different links that your customers can press to „find out more“. By observing what your customers find the most interesting, you will be able to adjust your services (and menu) to better fit your customers‘ demands.

Interesting restaurant email graphics might also be a part of your success. While facebook users easily get tired of information and tend to block their friends who participate in „share this picture and win“ contests, private space of a person‘s mailbox might be a good way to show a great deal for a meal or other restaurant email marketing examples.

But it is not all the time that restaurant email marketing will be the approach you are looking for. If your restaurant is concerned with more mature and wealthier customers, email campaign might be a good idea. But if your target group are teenagers who spend their time mostly in social platforms, your restaurant marketing should not be focused too much on restaurant email marketing ideas. It‘s better you search new approaches to this age group than sending an email with good deals for food – most of teenagers eat lunch at home anyways.

Email marketing video

Email marketing video
Email marketing video

Email marketing video is a fun and easy way to reconnect with your customers and now this tool of email marketing is particularly easy to use and employ in your e marketing campaign. As everything become faster and more image orientated, offering your clients video instead of a long string of words or a set of images only a few of which could be actually relevant. Making email marketing video is really easy as well – nowadays most of us are equipped with different cameras which allow fast recording and effective sharing on the internet. Moreover, there are at least several different free programs for editing and sharing the video.

When you first consider video email services you need to answer at least a few questions to yourself. First one being – what is your target group? Different target groups need different approaches and getting started on the wrong foot may damage your image in the eyes of your potential customers for good. The second question you need to answer to yourself is – is your target group interested in watching your videos? Young people and the ones who spend a lot of time on the internet have a very short attention spam, so might prefer images with condensed information or a moving GIF to streaming video email marketing which requires at least some amount of time.

Another problem you might face while engaging in the attempts to do the best video email is the lack of feedback. With regular newsletters you can see the clicks and thus decide which part of your content was the most interesting. With home made video newsletters tracking the preferences of your clients might be more complicated. Luckily, there are enough email marketing services that enable you to keep track of your customers even if your newsletter contains of video. So before choosing the service provider you might want to research the field a bit.

The third important thing is deciding why email marketing video could be useful to the people in your newsletter list. Maybe the product they bought needs assembling or maybe taking care of it would be a lot easier if they got advice via email? Or maybe you can produce interesting content (for example, a travel agency might interest potential buyers with funny and informative videos about each country they are selling tickets to)? Just don‘t make a video for it‘s own sake!

Once you have established whether you really need email marketing video you can start looking for providers and tutorials that will help you achieve what you are hoping for. You will probably need at least some of video email software – even if you have a camera and can edit. On the other hand, you can save by using free video email marketing or choosing cheaper services. And if you don‘t really know where to start, the enchanting place of the internet will help you again by offering email marketing video tutorial and other advice.
